In 2021, the GW Cancer Center transitioned its social media toolkits to web-based health awareness campaigns. Health awareness campaigns are available to assist partners in communicating about cancer risk reduction, cancer care, survivorship, and annual health-related observances throughout the year. Content is intended to be evidence-informed and is reviewed by subject matter experts from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The campaigns can be used by public health professionals, cancer control professionals, cancer centers, coalitions, and community-based organizations. We encourage you to adapt the content for your unique audience and areas of expertise. While new campaigns are being added regularly, we offer a social media toolkit archive, below, to assist in your continued communication efforts.
